In this variation of poker you are not playing against anyone but trying to achieve the highest hand possible to gain higher payouts. After placing your bet, you are dealt 5 cards face up. You have the option of holding your hand, discarding any number of cards and replacing them with new cards, or drawing a whole new hand.
Draw
The Deal button changes to the Draw button when appropriate and is lit up once the opening cards have been dealt. Press the Draw button once you have determined which cards to hold. If you have not selected any cards to hold, all your cards are replaced.
Hold cards
Click on the cards you wish to keep. The card will now be labeled "Held". To remove the Hold, click on the card again. If you choose to play in Auto Play mode the system decides the 'recommended' cards that should be held to give the best chance of winning.
Recommendations
The recommendations are calculated as follows
If there is a win then hold all the cards in that win.
If no winning hand cards are held as follows:
Four cards towards a straight/royal flush then hold them
Four cards of same suit (4 to a flush)
A Low Pair (a pair that is less than 2 jacks so not a scoring pair)
4 cards towards a straight (as long as the card needed is one on the outside of straight)
2 High cards of the same suit. (High cards means Jacks - Ace)
2 high cards of different suits (even if have more than 2 high cards only hold highest 2)
1 high card - if have nothing better than just hold a jack or higher
If don't even have 1 high card then don't hold anything.
